Dr. Manuel Abreu

Internal Medicine

Dr. Manuel Abreu, M.D, is a seasoned physician with a profound commitment to the art and science of medicine. His journey into the healthcare world began at a young age in his native Cuba, where he grew up in a family of medical practitioners. This early exposure to the medical field, including an unforgettable experience in the operating room at the age of six, ignited his curiosity and set the stage for his lifelong pursuit of healing and knowledge.

Throughout his medical education in Cuba, Dr. Abreu found himself drawn to the blend of intellectual challenge and hands-on skills that surgery offered. This fascination led him to embark on a path in General Surgery, and he completed his General Surgery Residency Program.

Dr. Abreu’s story took an unexpected turn when he, along with his family, had the opportunity to leave Cuba for Brazil. In Brazil, he practiced both General Medicine and General Surgery for three years before eventually making his way to the United States.

Dr. Abreu’s journey is marked by a spirit of continuous learning, a thirst for knowledge, and a drive to make a difference in the lives of his patients. His diverse experiences, from practicing medicine in different countries to his various roles in research and clinical care, have equipped him with a unique perspective on the field of medicine. His commitment to medical excellence and patient well-being is a cornerstone of his practice.

When not caring for patients, Dr. Manuel Abreu is an active member of the medical community, holding board certifications and maintaining professional affiliations. He is also multilingual, fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, making him accessible to a broad spectrum of patients.
